The salon has now been completely redone so we can work safely and comfortably and adhere to the strict distancing measures between clients and other members of staff.
We have a strong “Stay at home” policy during this time. If you are feeling unwell in any way or have a high temperature or persistent cough, please reschedule your appointment to a later date.
There will be no magazines in the salon but free WiFi will now be provided.
Clients are being recommended to wait outside the salon or in their cars until their service is ready to commence. If you call us once you are here, then we will text or call you when we are ready to start.
We ask all clients to arrive with a mask. If you cannot, we can provide them for cost. Roughly £1. If having a colour service you may require 2 masks. A second mask will not be charged for. This takes mandatory affect as from Saturday 8th August 2020.
As it is coming into summer we ask you not to bring a coat with you to avoid cross contamination when hanging them up. If you need to bring a coat or a cardigan, please bring with you a bag in which you can place it until you leave.
All appointments will have to be pre booked, we cannot accept walk ins for the time being.
Avoid hugging, kissing or shaking hands when greeting.
Drinks can still be provided if required. All crockery and cutlery will be washed with hot water and washing up liquid, rinsed in hot water and then the cup left overnight in sterilising fluid and washed again before use. Or fresh filtered water or juice can be provided in plastic disposable cups if preferred.
We have more than enough freshly laundered gowns and towels for every single client. These will be used once and then placed into a lidded receptacle and washed on a 60 degree wash at the end of each day.
A visor and a grade 2 mask will be worn by each staff member whilst doing your hair and at reception whilst dealing with inquiries or payments.
Whilst wearing your mask you may be asked to remove the ear straps and hold the mask over your mouth and nose for short periods whilst we wash, colour or cut around that area.
We strongly advise clients to avoid accessories such as earrings or necklaces.
All used areas will be cleaned and disinfected before and after all client services.
We will be still providing toilet facilities.
There is a non touch hand wash, hand sanitizer in the toilet area.
There will be either, hand wash or sanitizing gel available, paper towels, anti bacterial wipes and Dettox spray, which should be used thoroughly after every toilet use.
There will be touch free hand sanitizing dispensers around the salon at all times. There will be one on reception which people should use immediately when entering the salon.
Clients are asked not to handle anything in the salon unless given the all clear from their stylist such as shade charts.
If you are wanting to purchase any retail products or electrical items please let us know before your appointment so we can have these ready for you.
We ask all clients not to bring anyone else with them to their appointments.
We are unable to do children’s hair or dry cuts at this time.
There is a card machine for payments. We will still be accepting cash, cheques or bank transfers if preferred to completely avoid unnecessary surface contact.
